The Leading HVAC Event in Azerbaijan
Aqua-Therm BAKU, held currently with BakuBuild on 20th-23rd October, has confirmed to be the leading HVAC event in Azerbaijan.

The consolidation of these 2 important events was demonstrated by the total figures: 10.992 sq.mt. of exhibition space, 285 direct exhibitors from 26 countries and 9.279 trade visitors, among which installers, dealers, engineers, architects and municipal buyers. These data make BakuBuild / Aqua-therm Baku, the largest event in the Region.

The Exhibition took place at the Baku Expo Exhibitions and Conferences Centre, the largest and most modern exhibition place in the Region. Its excellent location in relation to the airport and the downtown, as well as developed infrastructure and convenient pavilions make Baku Expo Centre an ideal venue for Aqua-Therm.

The Market
According to the State Statistic Committee, from January to October 2009, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Azerbaijan increased by 8.3% in comparison with last year figures for the same period and made up $33.25bln.

Nearly $6.5bln. from all financial sources was invested in the economy of Azerbaijan from January to September 2009. Foreign investments shared 17.6% and amounted to $1.02bln.

From January to September 2009 the foreign trade turnover with 132 countries comprised $16517.61mln. The amount of export comprised $11560.98mln, while import totalled $4956.63mln.
